Sports Illustrated announced today that Adonis “Superman” Stevenson is their 2013 Fighter of the Year.
Stevenson is this years underdog in most polls, but he is very deserving of the honors.
The Haiti native–who now calls Quebec home–fought four times this year, winning each bout by knockout.
He knocked off the likes of Darnell Boone, Tavoris Cloud and Tony Bellew, but his most impressive victory was without-a-doubt the first-round blitz of then Light Heavyweight champion, Chad Dawson.
