On Saturday, October 17, 2015–before the world salivates while watching Gennady Golovkin and David Lemieux go toe to toe–Premier Boxing Champions serves up an afternoon treat on NBC featuring Lamont Peterson and Felix Diaz.
The unbeaten Diaz and former champion Peterson were in the same ring on the same night in April, winning and losing, respectively, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Now, the 31-year-old boxers face off in a 144-pound catchweight bout at EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia, not far from Peterson’s hometown of Washington, DC.
The fight is a scheduled 12-round bout with the NBC televised card kicking off at 4:00 pm, EST.
