Thursday, January 30, 2014 live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY Golden Boy Promotions presents a special boxing attraction as “Vicious” Victor Ortiz (29-4-2, 22 KOs) takes on BK’s own Luis Collazo (34-5, 17 KOs).

The “Super Brawl” looks to answer some questions of both men, who at this point in their careers are at a crossroads and in a must-win situation.

Ortiz–who has been on hiatus since having his jaw broken by Josesito Lopez in June of 2012–is looking to stake his claim in the Welterweight division and prove that he is both physically and mentally ready to be the star that Oscar De La Hoya had once anointed him.

At 32 years of age, Collazo is the older of the two fighters and needs a big win against Ortiz to stay relevant and justify a world-title shot.

Inactivity has been his nemesis in the past, but Collazo did notch two wins in 2013–albeit against low-level competition.

Which southpaw will be able to come out on top?
