It was recently announced that Curtis Stevens will get his chance against "GGG", Gennady Golovkin on November 2.
During a conference call 10 days prior to Saturday night's first-round stoppage of middleweight rival Saul Roman, Curtis "Showtime" Stevens had called out WBA 160-pound titleholder Gennady Golovkin as the man beyond Roman he would most like to face.
On August 3, NBC Sports Network and Main Event's teamed up for a boxing triple header, which included Eddie Chambers (36-4, 18 KOs) vs. Thabisco Mchunu 14-1, 10 KOs) Tomasz Adamek (49-2, 29 KOs) vs. Dominick Guinn (34-10-1, 23 KOs) and Curtis Stevens (25-3 18 KOs) vs. Saul Roman (37-10, 31 KOs).
