Leeds, UK: On Saturday, December 10, 2022, Ebanie Bridges and Shannon O’Connell battled for Bridges’ IBF World Female Bantamweight title.
It was a hard-fought fight with back-and-forth action between the two Aussie women.
After an onslaught of punches from Bridges in Round 8 in which O’Connell was stuck on the ropes, the referee stepped in to wave off the contest.
With the victory, Bridges improved to 9-1, 7 KOs, while O’Connell dropped to 23-7-1, 11 KOs.
