For Collazo, the bout against Khan–which is on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana’s mega fight–is an impressive return to the upper echelon after a long and arduous road through obscurity.
Collazo–simply an after thought in the Welterweight divison at this point last year–has resurrected his career with the help of a shocking KO victory over Victor Ortiz earlier this year.
Now, with a win over Khan, Collazo can look to land a shot at the pound-for-pound king, Mayweather.
