At the age of 15, Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin started boxing as a way to handle himself on the mean streets of Grand Rapids before moving to New York City.
“Nobody ever told me I was going to be a champion” remembers Quillin, as he looks back on the unlikely road which led him to the world’s stage.
