Exciting contender Sammy Vasquez Jr. (21-2, 15 KOs) and former world champion Luis Collazo (37-7, 20 KOs) went toe-to-toe on Thursday nights edition of PBC on FS1.
Vasquez was returning from his first professional loss, while Collazo was in action for the first time in over a year and a half.
The back-and-forth action picked up steam in Round 3 as Collazo dropped Vasquez.
Vasquez recovered and the two exchanged more vicious blows during the next few rounds.
In Round 6, Collazo ended things with a tremendous right hook, proving that he’s still got something left in the tank–even at 35 years of age.
