New York, NY (11/14/16) – On Saturday, November 19, DiBella Entertainment will return to the Fox Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino, in Mashantucket, CT, for the latest installment of its popular Broadway Boxing series, presented by Cedars Mediterranean Foods, Nissan of Queens, Azad Watches, OPTYX, and Christos Steak House.

The exciting card will be headlined by New Haven’s undefeated Luis Rosa Jr. (22-0, 10 KOs) squaring off against Japan’s Ryosuke Iwasa (22-2, 14 KOs), in an IBF junior featherweight world title eliminator scheduled for 12 rounds.

Russian prospect Radzhab Butaev (3-0, 3 KOs), co-promoted by DiBella Entertainment and Fight Promotions Inc., will appear on the undercard in the toughest test of his young career. A highly accomplished amateur, Butaev compiled an incredible 304-12 record, with 164 knockouts. He participated in the World Series of Boxing as well, finishing at 9-1. After just eight months as a pro, the 22-year-old Butaev, born in Salsk, Russia, but now living in Los Angeles, will challenge for the NABF junior middleweight title against the experienced Gabor Gorbics (22-3, 13 KOs).

A pro since 2012, Gorbics, of Budapest, is a former Hungarian junior welterweight and welterweight and Slovakian welterweight champion. He also has a 35-3 record as a kickboxer. Gorbics has wins over six undefeated opponents and has never been stopped in his three losses. Incredibly active, he has already fought 12 times this year.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to fight for the NABF title and am truly thankful to my promoters and VK Management for making this happen,” said Butaev. “I expect Gorbics to be a tough competitor, but I am ready for the challenge. I look forward to winning the NABF belt, moving up in the rankings, and working toward my goal of becoming a world champion.”

“With such an extensive amateur background, Butaev can make a bold move like this early on in his pro career,” said Lou DiBella, President of DiBella Entertainment. “Gorbics will provide a stern test, but I am confident Butaev will score a spectacular victory. Winning the NABF belt will help to ensure that Butaev’s career trajectory moves at the appropriate pace for his unlimited potential.”
