Via Ring TV: Cotto, Pacquiao, Roach Team Up

Freddie Roach was in the opposite corner of Miguel Cotto in November of 2009 working as trainer for Manny Pacquiao during the latter’s 12th-round knockout victory that dethroned Cotto as WBO welterweight beltholder.

August 9, 2013, Hollywood,Ca.  ---  "SURPRISE VISIT" ---  Superstar Manny Pacquiao (R) makes a surprise visit to the Wildcard Boxing Club in Hollywood,Ca. to wish good luck to three-time world champion Miguel Cotto(ctr). Cotto is finishing up the first week of training with his new trainer Freddie Roach (L) ,who is also Pacquiao's trainer. Cotto prepares for his upcoming 12-round super welterweight battle against current top-five contender Delvin Rodriguez.      Promoted by Miguel Cotto Promotions and Top Rank, in association with Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing and Tecate,   Cotto vs. Rodriguez will take place Saturday, October 5 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.        Pacquiao will take on former world champion Brandon "Bam Bam" Rios at The Venetian Macao Resort in Macau,China. The trio was together, yet again, recently at Roach’s Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, Calif., only this time, they were all essentially on the same team.
