On Saturday, October 21, 2017 from Verona, NY, Alex Rincon took on Steven Andrade in a Junior Middleweight bout scheduled for four rounds.
The bout took place on the undercard of the HBO Boxing After Dark tripleheader headlined by Jezreel Corrales and Alberto Machado.
Rincon improved to 3-0, 3 KOs with a second-round TKO victory over Andrade.
“At first, I was a bit cautious because Andrade has a bit more range than most fighters. Once I knew he felt my power, I felt more confident to step forward and cut the ring off.” said Rincon.
“I dedicate this fight to Coach Roach, my grandfather and best friend who just passed away. I’m going to the top with them watching out for me every step of the way.”
