According to Boxing Scene, the highly-anticipated 154-pound unification rematch between Jermell Charlo and Brian Castaño will be headed to LA on March 19.
Charlo-Castaño 2 was originally being slated for Houston on February 26, but it’s said that the 130-pound WBA title fight between Roger Gutierrez and Chris Colbert will headline that night on Showtime Championship Boxing.
The first fight between Charlo and Castaño delivered with high volume action, but was overshadowed by poor scoring, particularly Nelson Vazquez’s 117-111 scorecard which he turned in in favor of Charlo.
