Abner Mares vs. Jhonny Gonzalez and Leo Santa Cruz vs. Victor Terrazas highlight another great Golden Boy Promotions boxing card tonight on Showtime.
Both fights include title belts and each man looks to put on a show from the Stub Hub Center in Carson, California as boxing continues its torrid pace through 2013.
In the opening bout, Leo Santa Cruz steamrolled the champion Victor Terrazas knocking him down twice en-route to a third round TKO.
Impressive stuff from the young new champion, Santa Cruz.
In the main event, Jhonny Gonzalez wasted no time in getting to work versus Abner Mares. Gonzalez landed a perfect left hook which finished off Mares who had his hands held low.
Mares suffers a stunning first round knockout and Gonzalez proves that he still has the stuff to be world champion.
