Great back and forth action for the final bout on the undercard telecast. Abner Lopez won by unanimous decision against Aik Shakhnazarian.
Lopez (22-4, 19 KOs) put on a hell of a fight, giving Shakhnazarian the first loss of his professional career.
Denver fight fans were treated to seeing legendary Erik Morales in the crowd as he cheered on his fighter, Lopez. Lopez did not disappoint as he attacked the body of Shakhnazarian, dropping him twice in the sixth round, and causing Shakhnazarian to keep his hands low the rest of the fight.
The judges scores read 78-73 twice and 76-74 for a very proud Lopez.
