Anthony Mundine just won’t go away.
Just when you thought he was finished after being knocked down 784 times by Joshua Clottey in his last bout, Mundine stunned previously undefeated Belarusian boxer, Sergey Rabchenko.
The split decision victory–which ended with scores of 115-113 for Rabchenko, 115-113 and 116-112 for Mundine–gives Mundine a reason to fight on and seek a major world title.
The 39-year-old Mundine picked up the meaningless WBC silver light middleweight title and in his eyes gets him closer to a Floyd Mayweather fight. Yes, it’s okay to laugh at that last sentence.
