Chris Arreola was fit and patient and finished off Seth Mitchell in the first round of the special Showtime Boxing telecast.
In the first bout of the evening, 38 year old “Dinamita II”, Rafael Marquez took on Efrain Esquivias.
Marquez started out well, but Esquivias hung in tough and came back to knockout the Mexican legend in the ninth round.
After the fight, Marquez said he would take some time to think about retirement.
