Friday night on Main Street outside of the Buffalo Run Casino and Resort in Miami Oklahoma, prospect Austin Dulay (11-0, 8 KOs) defeated Carlos Padilla (16-6-1, 10 KOs) by technical knockout.
Dulay had Padilla on his heels from the onset, wobbling him with hard shots to the body and head in the first round. Padilla stepped up his aggression to begin the second, but Dulay seemed unfazed. Dulay seemed to give in to Padilla’s wishes fighting in a phone booth.
Dulay landed some nice counters to end the round, while Padilla responded by landing a punch after the bell. Realizing that in fighting wasn’t achieving the results he was looking for, Dulay opened up in the third.
He landed hard combinations late in the round that caused Padilla to crash to the canvas. Padilla never answered the bell for the fourth. Dulay looked great in his first fight under veteran trainer, Ronnie Shields. Dulay improves his record to 11-0 and remains undefeated.
