There may not have been a huge crowd on hand thanks to the Coronavirus, but that didn’t stop Brandun Lee (19-0, 17 KOs) from destroying Camilo Prieto (15-3, 9 KOs).

The two met at the Grand Casino, in Hinckley, Minnesota on March 14th, 2020.

With boxing, along with just about every other sport on the sidelines due to the contagious virus, fans who were looking to get back to normalcy came to the right place.

Coming into this contest Lee was on a nine fight knockout streak, but by the end of it, it was be stretched to 10.

The record of Prieto may have looked impressive considering he was on a seven fight, but the level of his opposition have been terrible. Just how bad? Well, of his seven opponents, six of them had losing records. A matchup with Lee proved to be too much of a step up.

When the opening bell rang, Lee came out lackadaisical. Prieto played things safe as he tried to stay away from the power of his opponent. Mission not accomplished as Lee crushed him in the third round.

A right hand a few seconds into the round started off the beginning of the end. Several unanswered punches soon after forced an end to the contest. Lee wasn’t able to show out in front of a jam packed crowd, but he was still able to get the job done. At only 20 years of age, he’s someone to keep an eye on.

Final Grade For Brandun Lee: A

Brandun Lee looked great. But let’s be honest.

Camilo Prieto looked awful. He gave absolutely no resistance and essentially folded the moment he was hit with a significant shot. Lee gets an A for his performance, but it didn’t exactly prove anything in terms of if he is the real deal or not.
