Claressa Shields and Christina Hammer came face to face in the ring after Shields’ decision victory over Hanna Gabriels.

On Friday, June 22, 2018, Claressa Shields became a two-division world champion, and Christina Hammer retained her two world title belts as both scored unanimous decision victories on a SHOWTIME BOXING: SPECIAL EDITION card from the Masonic Temple in Detroit, Michigan.

And now they have their sights set on one another.

Shields was asked after her fight when she would like to face Hammer.

“Hopefully it’s next,” said Shields. “I don’t need no rest. I could have whipped her tonight. I’m just so sick of her and her whole team.”
