Josh Taylor

While Terence Crawford is solely focused on the task at hand in Shawn Porter, promoter Bob Arum is already thinking ahead.

According to Dan Rafael, if Crawford successful on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in his big-time Welterweight clash against Porter, a future fight against undisputed 140 champion Josh Taylor could be in the works.

Of course, Taylor has to get a victory of his own when he takes on Jack Catterall in February. Another potential hiccup is that Crawford is no longer locked into a contract with Top Rank, so he could potentially test the waters and take his talent to another promotional company.

If he defeats Porter, would you rather see Crawford head across the street to PBC and explore matchups against guys like Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia and Errol Spence? Or would you rather see him stay at Top Rank and face Taylor at Welterweight?
