In a highly anticipated rematch of their epic shootout back in 2011, Dereck Chisora looks to gain revenge against old foe Tyson Fury when they lock horns on July 26, 2014.
The bout is a WBO heavyweight final eliminator, with a shot at the ultimate prize laying in wait for the winner.
Many have stated that Chisora is not crazy, he is just misunderstood, but after a career littered with fighting at press conferences, kissing, spitting, biting and slapping his opponents, some would disagree with that statement.
Throughout his time as a pro, the London based heavyweight has made the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Quality performances against the likes of Vitali Klitschko and Robert Helenius have been overshadowed by his eccentric and sporadic behavior, which is a shame for a fighter of Chisora’s caliber.
However, since the infamous Munich debacle with David Haye, the 30-year-old slugger has gone quietly about his business, comfortably dispatching his last five opponents, including previously undefeated American Malik Scott.
So with Chisora aiming to keep his good run of form going, can he finally get his long awaited revenge against the equally boastful Fury?
Just like his counterpart Chisora, the giant 6’9″ Fury is also a complex character, who has similarly found himself misinterpreted by the boxing media.

The former British heavyweight champion is known for his unpredictability, after numerous spats on Twitter with nemesis David Price, announcing his retirement after the David Haye bout did not materialize and tossing a table at a recent press conference.
Nevertheless, the 25 year old has never been in a dull fight, his motives have been sometimes questioned, but his heart certainly is not. Throughout his career, Fury has found himself on the canvas on numerous occasions, still, the traveler from Manchester has always gotten back up and won, to keep his undefeated record intact.
However, with a rejuvenated Chisora on the warpath, will Fury have what it takes to halt the uncontrollable pressure cooker?
In a sport where controversy sells, boxing fans around the world will be tuning in to witness two of the most colorful, erratic and controversial athletes on the planet engage, with fireworks almost guaranteed in Manchester.
Due to the pair’s unconventional nature, we can only speculate how this battle will pan out, but one thing is for sure, Derek Chisora versus Tyson Fury will be intensely dramatic and no less entertaining.
