After James Kirkland was viciously knocked out by Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, his former trainer, Ann Wolfe, emotionally responded to the stoppage.
In a video posted by HBO Boxing through their Twitter account, Wolfe was interviewed and was visibly upset about the outcome of the fight.
“To see James like that, to see his mother upset like that, to see everyone upset–It wasn’t ‘I told you so. I’m happy because that happened to you,’ It was f***ed up,” said Wolfe.
