The Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor saga continues.
On Friday night, live on Showtime, Mayweather himself spent a good portion of his on-camera time pleading his case for why fight fans should even entertain a potential matchup between himself and McGregor.
Showtime’s Steve Farhood didn’t have to push Mayweather too much, but he did directly ask Mayweather why boxing fans should be interested in him taking on McGregor who has never fought in a professional boxing match.
“Everytime Conor McGregor goes out there and competes and wins, he do it standing up,” said Mayweather who seemed all too eager to state his case for the fight.
It seems more obvious than ever that regardless of the retirement talk, Mayweather is anxiously awaiting his return to the ring against McGregor.
