Golden Kids – Boxing Club launches it’s crowdfunding campaign: Support a Champion!
• Golden Kids Boxing Club is an organization that supports 50 children from low-income families to practice boxing in the City of Cartagena.
• The campaign, which will be open to online donations for 60 days, seeks to raise funds to buy elements of boxing.
Golden Kids Boxing Club has officially launched its online campaign “Support a Champion!”. The campaign aims to raise funds to buy sporting equipment and to finance transportation (to and from the gym) and snacks for 50 underprivileged children (between 7 and 17 years of age) in the city of Cartagena, Colombia.

Once you choose the amount you want to donate, you must register and make the payment. After the donation is complete you will receive a very special thank you from our boxers!
Golden Kids Boxing Club was born in late 2014 to give underprivileged children in the city of Cartagena the opportunity to practice this sport. Our goal is to give children a place to learn the sport, take refuge from the street and learn values to achieve their goals in life. For us, and for our children, boxing is not only a physical sport, but a mental one. We use boxing as a tool to instill in our children socio- emotional skills and values.
With three training sessions a week and two monthly extracurricular activities, we strive to make our champions learn values and learn tools to fulfill their goals in life.
Why do we need your help?
Champions need help from time to time! Many of our children do not have enough money to buy the necessary equipment for this sport safely. In addition, some children live far away from the gym and do not have sufficient resources for transport and to maintain a balanced diet.
What will we do with your donations?
With this campaign we seek to collect sufficient funds to organize 10 extracurricular activities that include transportation costs and snacks for our children and to give each one of our 50 boxers an annual endowment of: One presentation uniform, one practice uniform, a cap, a sports bag, a pair of training shoes, a mouth guard and a pair of boxing bandages.
