The David Haye vs. Tyson Fury bout—originally scheduled for September 28—has been rescheduled for February 8, 2014.
Haye vs. Fury was one of the most anticipated Heavyweight bouts of the year, but Haye was forced to pull out this past weekend when he suffered a gash over his left eye.
According to the Daily Mail UK, Fury fears that Haye might find another excuse to postpone or cancel the fight.
Peter Fury, Tyson’s trainer and uncle said, “We are accepting February 8 but we’re not convinced they won’t cry off again.”
Fury is said to be planning an interim bout in October or November of this year.
