Rumors have intensified regarding Amir Khan‘s next bout being against Floyd Mayweather Jr. next May.
While an official deal has not been reached yet, it was expected that Khan would face Devon Alexander in December of this year.
The report claiming Khan would face Mayweather released on Daily Mail UK stated that Khan would be effectively be backing out of his bout against Alexander.
But, according to World Boxing News, Khan’s team released a statement dispelling the rumors that Khan is backing out of his fight with Alexander.
We released the report that Khan vs. Mayweather was reportedly set for next May, and Instagram fans were up in arms.
