Jermain Taylor (33-4-1, 20 KOs) will make the first defense of his IBF title against Sergio Mora (27-3-2, 9 KOs) on February 6 at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.

The scheduled 12-rounder will be the main event of a card promoted by DiBella Entertainment that will air on ESPN‘s Friday Night Fights.

Taylor, 36, of Little Rock, Arkansas, will defend the title he won in December against Sam Soliman, but is a different fighter from the man who defeated Bernard Hopkins twice almost ten years ago.

Mora, 34, of East Los Angeles, California, can hardly be considered a top ten Middleweight, but will have his first chance at a title since losing his 154-pound WBC strap in a rematch against Vernon Forrest.

Hassan N’dam, who won a shot at the IBF title in his win over Curtis Stevens in October, will likely face the winner of this fight and perhaps add more legitimacy to the IBF crown.

In a fight that should have happened ten years ago, who will take a win?
