In an interview with TV Azteca, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. told reporters that Fernando Beltran, Bob Arum and Team Cotto will try to close a deal to fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in December.
If this fight were to go down, Chavez Jr. would obviously have to move down to at least 160 pounds, and at this point that would seem highly unlikely.
But, if Chavez Jr. gets motivated and can somehow make weight, it would add another legendary chapter to the Mexico vs. Puerto Rico rivalry.
If Chavez Jr. vs. Cotto happens, who wins?
