Wladimir Klitschko‘s (63-3, 54 KOs) manager, Bernd Boente, has confirmed to Dan Rafael of ESPN that a fight against undefeated Heavyweight contender, Bryant Jennings (19-0, 10 KOs) , could take place on April 25, 2015 in New York.

According to Boente, the deal is not yet finalized, and if an agreement isn’t solidified between the two sides, Klitschko could end up fighting someone else in Germany.

Jennings is a young, hungry Heavyweight from Philadelphia who has shown a lot of improvement in his last few fights, most recently defeating previously undefeated contender, Mike Perez (20-1-1, 12 KOs).

Tyson Fury–who recently became the No. 1 contender for Klitschko’s WBO belt–is not being considered as a possible April opponent, but could be in contention for later in 2015. No word on whether Klitschko stalker, Shannon Briggs will get a chance at Klitschko.
