On the undercard of the Omar Figueroa vs. Robert Guerrero fight, two Polish Heavyweights, Artur Szpilka (20-3, 15 KOs) and Adam Kownacki (16-0, 13 KOs), came to clash in the Nassau Colliseum in New York City.

Szpilka came in searching to prove he was the same fighter as he was before his brutal knockout at the hands of Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. In order to get another shot at a heavyweight title, Szpilka would not only have to win, but batter Kownacki.

Szpilka did neither of the two. Kownacki  landed three times the punches of Szpilka and dropped him once in the fourth before ending it with a four punch combination mere seconds later.

After destroying Szpilka, many more eyes have turned to Kownacki and its very possible he will be in more lucrative fights, and even a title bout, in the near future.
