The highly anticipated Middleweight title-unification bout between Gennady Golovkin and David Lemieux just got better with the addition of undefeated Lightweight standout, Lamont Roach Jr.
The 20-year-old Roach Jr. (8-0, 3 KOs) is one of the best up-and-coming prospects in the talent-rich Golden Boy Promotions stable.
Hailing from Washington D.C., Roach Jr. is 3-0 in 2015, having scored victories on Golden Boy Live in January and June as well as on the Lucas Matthysse vs. Ruslan Provodnikov undercard in April.
The DC native looks to continue his winning streak when he fights on the Golovkin vs. Lemieux undercard on October 17 at Madison Square Garden.
