The night started off great. Dominic Wade put a hurting on Roberto Ventura, knocking him down three times in the very first round.
The first two knockdowns were setup by left hooks and the third with a right hook, forcing the referee to stop the bout at 2:08.
Wade moves to (12-0, 10 KOs) while Ventura moves to (12-8, 12 KOs)
The second fight of the night featured Braulio Santos (10-1, 9 KOs) vs. David Clark (6-2, 4 KOs).
The bell rang and fists started to fly early. Punch after punch, hook after hook, Santos was too much for Clark.
Santos dropped Clark at 1:49 of Round 1 and as Clark stumbled to get back on his feet, referee David Fields called off the action after looking into Clark’s eyes.
Santos improves to 11-1, 10 KOs while Clark moves to 6-3, 4 KOs.
In a fight full of jabs, Zachary Ochoa (4-0, 3 KOs) showed his speed and boxing abilities by dominating the fight against Michael J. Doyle (2-5, 1 KO) from a distance.
At the end of four rounds, Ochoa came out the victor, winning the fight 40-36 on all score cards.
Ochoa improves to 5-0, 3 KOs, while Doyle moves to 2-6, 1 KO.
2012 Dominican Republic Olympic representative Wellington Romero made his much anticipated pro debut against Victor Galindo in a Junior Welterweight four rounder.
Romero spent the four rounds bullying Galindo with combo after combo. The game Galindo waited until the fourth and final round to try to come back.
But, it was too little too late as Romero won the fight with a UD, having scored 40-36 on all scorecards.
