On Saturday, March 5, 2016 Lucas Browne challenged WBA Heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev at the Colosseum Sport Hall in Grozny, Russia.
Browne was dropped in Round 6, but recovered and came back to drop Chagaev in Round 10.
After pinning Chagaev against the ropes and landing a barrage of unanswered punches, the referee stepped in and Browne was victorious.
