According to Mannix–via Sports Illustrated–the suit filed by Main Events alleges a breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, tortious interference and interference with prospective economic advantage.
Main Events CEO Kathy Duva told Sports Illustrated that the whole point of the lawsuit is not to force Stevenson to face Kovalev, rather to let “people know you can’t come in and screw up everybody’s plans because you want to.”
