According to Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, Manny Pacquiao has agreed to terms for a May 2 showdown with the pound-for-pound king, Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Of course, the one thing that still stands in the way is Mayweather’s willingness to agree to terms.
According to the article, Top Rank head honcho, Bob Arum says Mayweather’s representatives have also agreed to the deal, but that they have yet to hear from Mayweather himself.
It seems as though we are still in the same spot as usual, waiting on Mayweather.
Pacquiao also stated earlier this week via the Manila Standard that his team would make an announcement before the end of the month and that he thought the fight would happen.
