According ESPN.com’s Dan Rafael, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum has an agreement in place with Duco Events for Manny Pacquiao to defend his WBO Welterweight world title against Australia’s unbeaten Jeff Horn.
The bout will take place April 22 (April 23 in Australia) and pits Pacquiao–the champion–against the No. 2 ranked WBO contender, Horn.
The location for the fight has not been finalized, but the fight will likely take place in Australia at Suncorp Stadium.
Pacquiao was last in action in November of 2016 against Jessie Vargas where he won the WBO title by unanimous decision.
Horn took on Ali Funeka back in December of 2016 and won by TKO in Round 6.
What are your thoughts on a Pacquiao vs. Horn scrap?
