Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports is reporting–via Twitter–that sources have confirmed that the Floyd Mayweather vs. Marcos Maidana 2 pay-per-view did over 925,000 buys.
Just confirmed with a source that Mayweather-Maidana II did 925k on pay-per-view. Blog post soon on @YahooSports

If this number is accurate, it would be up 25k from the first fight, which is pretty impressive considering the lack of excitement and marquee matchups that the undercard provided.
