Thousands of fans and media gathered at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 to witness the first face-to-face encounter between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.

The one-of-a-kind sporting event featuring the legendary boxer and self-proclaimed best ever, Mayweather, and the all-time MMA great and UFC champion, “The Notorious” Conor McGregor, is a scheduled 12-round boxing match.

While the fight has many people intrigued, it is in fact the press tour which has even more people hyped up, due to the fact that both Mayweather and McGregor are all-time great trash talkers.

Neither man disappointed at the presser and in fact, both fighters came out dropping bars–mostly ones that aren’t safe for work repeating at work.

Each man guaranteed a knockout victory, with McGregor claiming that he’ll finish Mayweather inside four rounds.

“I’m going to knock him out inside four rounds. Mark my words,” said McGregor.

Not to be outdone, Mayweather said that McGregor will either go out on his back or on his face.

Mayweather also took the chance to poke fun at McGregor’s only UFC loss, which came at the hands of Nate Diaz.

While diehard boxing fans have been vocal in trashing the Mayweather vs. McGregor spectacle via social media, plenty of people are interested in the fight that, while is strictly being fought under the rules of boxing, is bridging two different forms of combat and their respective fan bases.

Will Mayweather or McGregor score a stoppage, or will Mayweather cruise to a decision victory?
