On Saturday, October 21, 2017 from Verona, NY, Michael Dutchover took on Anthony de Jesus Ruiz Sanchez in a Lightweight bout scheduled for six rounds.
The bout took place on the undercard of the HBO Boxing After Dark tripleheader headlined by Jezreel Corrales and Alberto Machado.
Dutchover defeated Ruiz Sanchez by TKO in Round 4.
“We took this fight wanting to get more experience and rounds in. It was my first six rounder, and I’m obviously very happy that our game plan let us finish him early,” said Dutchover.
“I wasn’t expecting him to move as much, but we adjusted well to it.
