In a non-televised Featherweight swing bout, Nick Arce (3-0, 3 KOs) scored a second-round knockout victory over Marco Alcaraz on the May 7 edition of LA Fight Club at the Belasco Theater in Downtown Los Angeles.
The fight was the final bout of the evening that, despite taking place after the main event, drew a crowd of over 200 of Arce’s supporters.
Arce, 18, scored two knockdowns in Round 1 with a left hook and a one-two combination respectively.
Arce posed a serious height and reach advantage as he controlled his distance before landing hooks to the body and head of Alcaraz.
Between the rounds, Arce was asked to jab a bit more from his trainers before throwing power punches.
In Round 2, Arce scored another knockdown before referee Jack Reiss put an end to the fight.
Arce, a Los Angeles native who is trained by the Saucedo Brothers out of the Westside Boxing Club, continued his knockout and undefeated streak tonight.
