According to numerous media outlets, including TMZ, when of boxing’s greatest talents–the legendary Pernell “Sweet Pea” Whitaker–was killed Sunday night after he was struck by a car in Virginia Beach.
Whitaker, who was 55 years old, was given CPR when medical personal arrived on the accident scene, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and died.
Many people paid their respects to Whitaker on Monday via social media.
