Daniel Geale defeated Garth Wood by sixth-round RTD on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. He now sets his sights on feared Middleweight and WBA Champion, Gennady Golovkin.
Though the pre-fight talk by Geale included accusations of Wood being a dirty fighter, it was Geale who was deducted a point in the second round for a low blow.
Wood was down once in the first, fifth and sixth round. His corner stopped the bout at the end of round six.
