For the past two weeks, we’ve heard the same question over and over again; “Is it official?” Looks like Thursday, Golden Boy Promotions CEO, Richard Schaefer may be making the official announcement for Lucas Matthysse versus Danny Garcia.
Golden Boy announced media call w/ Richard Schaefer for Thurs afternoon for ‘major fight announcement.’ Garcia-Matthysse is probably done.

Who Wrote That?
Oscar De La Hoya apparently wants to know which Ring Magazine writer wrote the best left hooks article. Not sure if De La Hoya bothered to click the link, because it says it right on the article. For the record, the “Golden Boy” did not make the top 10.

Michael Woods of ESPN is reporting that Delvin Rodriguez is pretty much a lock to fight versus Miguel Cotto in October.
