On October 10, 2015, Ramon Alvarez scored a fourth-round TKO victory over Ben Tackie in a Middleweight fight at the Mexico City Arena in Mexico.
The scheduled 10-rounder was televised by beIN Sports in the U.S.
From the very start of the fight, Alvarez began unleashing hooks to the body and the head, while Tackie did his best to cover up and throw the occasional shot.
Alvarez, a 29-year-old native of Guadalajara, Mexico, dealt with little offense from Tackie, although in Round 3 he took a solid right hand from Tackie
By Round 4, however, Tackie could not keep Alvarez off of him. Alvarez cornered him and began unleashing a series of combinations that forced referee Jose Garcia to stop the fight at 1:52 seconds of Round 4.
