Results:

Diego De La Hoya vs. Jesus Ruiz, 10 rounds, Featherweights;

De La Hoya scored a unanimous decision win over Ruiz. De La Hoya boxed well in the early rounds, using his jab and footwork to land quick combinations. Ruiz was determined to land shots, but De La Hoya’s movement and jab continually prevented him from finding his rhythm.

By Round 6, however, De La Hoya had severe suffering below his right eye, which forced him to use his movement a lot more in order to prevent more damaged. De La Hoya cruised through the final round and earned scores of 100-90, 99-91 and 99-91.

Everton Lopes vs. Omar Tienda, 8 rounds, junior welterweights;

Lopes scored a tough majority decision win over Omar Tienda.

Tienda was relentless in every round, while Lopes used his footwork to land one-two combinations.

Lopes was dropped in Round 2 and 5–the first of which was actually a slip–and had to dig deep in the later rounds to cement his win.

two judges scored the fight 76-74 for Lopes, while one scored the fight a 75-75 draw.

Christian Gonzalez vs. Luis Lizarraga Jr., 6 rounds, junior lightweights

Gonzalez got the second-round TKO win. After landing thudding shots on Lizarraga in Round 1, Gonzalez floored him with a powerful left hook in Round 2.

Lizarraga got back to his feet before the 10-count, but was clearly unable to continue. One of his cornermen had to jump into the ring to get the fight stopped.

Ivan Delgado vs. Thomas Herrera, 6 rounds, junior lightweights

Delgado won via unanimous decision. The scores were 60-54 on all scorecards.

Delgado was too strong for Herrera in every round, and landed the harder and quicker shots in every round.

Rafael Gramajo vs. Adrian Gonzalez, 6 rounds, junior featherweights

Gramajo scored a six-round unanimous decision over a tough Gonzalez.

Gramajo felt out his opponent in the early rounds, and managed to land few shots early.

Gonzalez, perhaps increasing in confidence, grew aggressive in round 3, leading to toe-to-toe action of the rest of the fight.

Gonzalez managed to land shots, but it was Gramajo who was busier and landed the harder shots in the last three rounds.

All judges scored the fight 68-62 for Gramajo.

Jonathan Navarro vs. Gibran Gutierrez, 4 rounds, junior welterweights

Navarro won a four-round unanimous decision. All judges scored the fight 40-36 for Navarro.
