Undefeated rising star Erickson “The Hammer” Lubin (13-0, 10 KOs) takes on Mexican brawler Jose De Jesus Macias (18-4-2, 9 KOs) in a 10-round Super Welterweight battle as Premier Boxing Champions – The Next Round on Bounce TV returns tonight from Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee in Immokalee, Florida.

The much talked about 20-year-old pro will be headlining for the first time when he takes on Macias.

Televised coverage on Bounce TV begins at 9:00 pm, EST and features Puerto Rican Olympian Alex “El Pollo” De Jesus (21-1, 13 KOs) in an eight-round showdown against Florida’s Joseph Elegele (14-2, 10 KOs).

Erickson Lubin vs. Jose De Jesus Macias

In the main event the very exciting southpaw prospect Erickson Lubin (14-0, 10 KOs) stepped into the ring against Jose De Jesus Macias (18-5-2 draws, 9 KOs).

Both fighters clearly had their established fan bases with dueling chants of “Mexico” and “Hammer” echoing periodically throughout the bout.

Macias was caught with a cuffing right that staggered him in Round 4 and his glove touched the canvas, which was correctly scored as a knockdown.

Apparently unhappy with this turn of events Marcias responded with a spirited volley of his own that ignited the hopes of his vocal Mexican supporters.

The fighters continued a sustained campaign against each other throughout the remainder of the fight in a fan friendly, well fought skirmish.

Lubin received the nod from the judges via unanimous decision with scores of 99-90, 100-89 and 100-89.

Alex De Jesus vs. Joseph Elegele

Puerto Rican Welterweight Alex DeJesus (21-2, 13 KOs) faced off with Florida native Joseph Elegele (15-2, 11 KOs) in a bout scheduled for eight rounds.

Elegele landed jolting shots through the first six minutes and appeared to win the first two stanzas as a result.

The two southpaws exchanged blows in Round 3 with Elegele again seeming to have the upper hand. This proved to be true when he dropped DeJesus at the end of the third round after buzzing him moments earlier.

Elegele dropped him again in Round 6 and this time the damage was too much. The stoppage came at 1:56 of the round.

Dennis Galarza vs. Bence Molnar

Brooklyn, NY native Dennis Galarza (12-1, 8 KOs) squared off against Samual Amaoko (21-7, 15 KOs) of Ghana in the first televised bout of the evening.

The Featherweight bout scheduled for eight rounds started with “The Surgeon” in complete control over the first several rounds and through six rounds this continued to be the case.

At the end of eight rounds Galarza was announced the winner by unanimous decision with the scores of 80-72, 80-72 and 80-72.

Harold Calderon vs. Gilbert Venegas

In a four round Welterweight match Harold Calderon took on a very game Javier Garcia. There was excellent back and forth action and both fighters show great courage throughout.

Ultimately, Calderon took a unanimous decision by scores of 39-37, 40-36, 40-36.

Dyah Davis vs. Edgar Perez

Light Heavyweight Dyah Davis easily stopped a fleshy Edgar Perez when his corner wisely stopped the bout at the end of the second round of a scheduled six-round bout.

Jesus Lule vs. Jamar Saunders

In an tough, exciting four-round Featherweight match, Jesus Lule defeated southpaw Jamar Saunders via unanimous decision by scores of 40-36, 39-37 and 39-37.

David Grayton vs. Daniel Souza Santos

Exciting, undefeated southpaw David Grayton sought to advance his career at the expense of Daniel Souza Santos in a Welterweight bout scheduled for eight rounds or less.

Despite being knocked down after being clipped by a left hand in the first, Grayton rebounded to land vicious combinations to the body and head forcing his rival to retire in his corner after the second round.

Ray Lampkin vs. Darryol Humphrey

Ray Lampkin stopped Darryol Humphery in a Lightweight bout scheduled for six rounds.

Farid Aghayev vs. Hakeem Atkinson

In a spirited four round Middleweight affair, Hakeem Atkinson defeated Farid Aghayev via unanimous decision.
