Renowned artist Richard T. Slone commissioned to paint Official Big Fight Art
LAS VEGAS, July 2, 2013 Internationally renowned artist Richard T. Slone, known for his energetic and vibrant paintings of major level events has been officially commissioned to paint the upcoming superfight between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Saul “Canelo” Alverez, which takes place on Septemeber 14, 2013 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and broadcast live on on SHOWTIME PPV®.
It was announced July 2, in Los Angeles at the LA LIVE press conference that Slone is the official artist and his first painting of the fight (above) was unveiled before Mayweather, Canelo and a crowd of 10,000+ fans.
