On Saturday, December 12, 2015, former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. was brutally knocked out by Enzo Maccarinello at the VTB Arena in Moscow, Russia.
Jones, 46, had fought three times earlier this year at Crusierweight, and won knockout victories against Willie Williams, Paul Vasquez and Eric Watkins.
Clearly, it wasn’t against the best opposition, so it was no surprise that Jones was in for a tough fight tonight in Russia.
In Round 4, after being knocked down, Jones was pushed against the ropes where Maccarinelli set up two uppercuts and a right hook that dropped Jones face-first onto the canvas.
The fight was immediately stop as Jones was completely unconscious.
