Three-division champion Leo “El Terremoto” Santa Cruz will defend his Featherweight world title against Chris Avalos, while four-time world champion Abner Mares defends his 126-pound championship against once-beaten Andres Gutierrez at StubHub Center in Carson, California.
The fights will headline a show presented by Premier Boxing Champions live on Fox and Fox Deportes on Saturday, October 14, 2017.

Leo Santa Cruz stopped Chris Avalos via eighth round knockout.
Abner Mares vs. Andres Gutierrez
Abner Mares defeats Andres Gutierrez in a one-sided bout. The bout was officially stopped because of an accidental head butt. Mares won with scores of 100-90 and 99-91 twice.
Eddie Ramirez vs. Antonio DeMarco
Antonio DeMarco (33-6-1, 23 KOs) hands Eddie Ramirez (17-1, 11 KOs) his first loss with a first-round knockout.
DeMarco hit Ramirez with an uppercut and he never recovered. Ramirez backed Demarco into the corner and peppered him with shots before the referee stopped it.
Eimantas Stanionis vs. Todd Manuel
Welterweight Eimantes Stanionis (4-0, 3 KOs) defeated Todd Manuel (14-14-1, 3 KOs) by unanimous decision in an eight-round bout.
Two judges scored the bout 80-72, while the third judge scored it 79-73 in favor of Stanionis.
Roberto Marroquin vs. Ruben Tamayo
Roberto Marroquin (27-4-1, 19 KOs) stops Ruben Tamayo (27-10-4, 18 KOs) in the fifth round. Tamayo hit the canvas and did not want to continue when asked by the referee.
Misael Rodriguez vs. Cesar Hernandez
In a six-round Middleweight bout, Misael Rodriguez improved to 4-0 with a unanimous decision over Cesar Hernandez (3-3, 1 KO).
All three judges had the bout 60-54 in favor of Rodriguez.
Jose Balderas vs. Victor Torres
Jose Balderas (2-0) scores a unanimous decision over Victor Torres (3-5-1, 1 KO) in a 4-round Bantamweight bout. All three judges scored the bout 40-36 in favor of Balderas.
Jerry Perez vs. Juan Sandoval
Jerry Perez won a four-round unanimous decision over Juan Sandoval.
Jose Vargas vs. Jose Perez
Jose Vargas defeated Jose Perez by second-round knockout.
Luis Coria vs. Percy Peterson
Percy Peterson upset the previously undefeated Luis Coria by unanimous decision. The scores were 38-37 three times for Peterson.
