According Dan Rafael of ESPN–via Twitter–Showtime and Golden Boy Promotions will put on a triple header on Saturday, April 26, 2014.
These means boxing will be in full effect in the month of April with the Pacquiao vs. Bradley card, Hopkins vs. Shumenov night of action and now the April 26 triple-header.
Keith Thurman will be taking on undeserving, but battle-tested, Julio Diaz, while hard-hitting Argentine Lucas “The Machine” Matthysse returns after his tough loss to Danny Garcia to face John Molina.
Opening up the night of action will be Omar Figueroa taking on Jerry Belmontes.
Off those three matchups, all three seem to favor the bigger names, but often times classic matchups materialize when we least expect them.
